Offline and Pending Queue

Offline

OneBlink LcS apps and forms are able to be accessed while offline. When a form is submitted while offline it is stored in the pending queue, it will then be automatically submitted once an internet connection is available.

When trying to upload attachments (files, camera, checklist media, or signatures), the app user will be shown an offline message.

Pending Queue

The pending queue can be accessed from the app menu. It will store any submissions that are completed while offline or while on a poor internet connection. The pending queue displays the list of pending forms, the date and time they were submitted, any attachments that need to be uploaded, and a delete option.

Slow Internet Connections

When completing a form on a poor internet connection, you are able to also add the submission to the pending queue to complete uploading in the background, allowing you to continue to use the app.

Once a submission has been completely uploaded and submitted from the pending queue the app user will get a notification.

Note: It is worth noting that lookups will not work while offline. Lookups require you to be online to call the corresponding APIs. For more on Lookups check out this article.
