The NSW Point integration allows you to add an address validation element or parcel lookup element to your forms.

Configure the integration once and use it across any form.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Set Up Integration

Step 1: Navigate to the integrations menu and click edit integration on the NSW Point integration card

Step 2: Choose the Version of the NSW Apoint API, and add your API Key

V2 is required for the NSW Address Element, and V3 is required for the Cadastral Parcel Element.

To add a second key click te add environment button.

Step 3: Navigate to the form that you want to add the NSW Point element to and open the Developer tools menu. In the Developer Tools menu, there will be 2 possible cards, one for V2 configuration and one for V3. From here, you can choose your appropriate NSW API Key.

Depending on the number of environments configured, you will be able to configure the following:

  • No Integration: The configuration will be hidden on the form summary screen.
  • One Environment: A single switch will be displayed that enables to enable and disables the integration on the specified form.
  • Multiple environments: A drop-down will be displayed, where you will be able to select which environment API to use for the specified form.

Step 4: Navigate to the form Builder tab and add the NSW Point Elements to your form.

Point Address Element

The Point address element allows for further configurations to limit the addresses that can be searched on.

Limit to specific states & territories - Allowing you to restrict results to specific Australian States and Territories.

Limit to physical or mailing addresses - Allowing you to restrict results to either physical or mailing addresses, defaulting to both.

Conditional Logic

You can configure conditional logic on the value of an NSW Point address. These conditional logic statements allow you to only show elements when the NSW Point address is empty or not empty, when the address is either a mailing address or a PO box address or if the address is in a specific state.

Point Cadastral Parcel

The Point Cadastral Parcel element allows users to retrieve address information from NSW Point based on the specific Parcel ID entered. Once the Cadastral Parcel ID is added, the corresponding Address, Lots and Local Government Area are displayed on the form.

Unlike other NSW Point elements, the Point Cadastral Parcel element does not support auto-completion. You must input the entire Parcel ID manually for it to function correctly.
