Release Notes: 23/12/2021

Modified on Mon, 23 May 2022 at 03:56 PM

Here is our release update for the big features that hit the LcS over this last quater. Workflow, email customisation, new submission events, BSB and ABN/ACN validation and more customisable data retention.

For more information on each of these features read on below.

Workflow

We have modified our submission events menu to allow for more flexibility, and to more accurately describe the order of events. We have moved the approval flow configuration into the form instead of the approval app, and added the new approval events section. Now you can easily distinguish between submission events that occur on form submissions and approval events which are run after the approval has been completed.

Email Templates

Emails are one of the most frequently used submission events, and now you are able to customise the content of your email body. Add your own custom email body and signatures with our email template editor. Include links to attachments, or add content from the form using custom parameters.

Email Submission Event

With the ability to add content from the form into the email body the submission PDF is not always required. To account for this we have created the Email submission event. This submission event will send an email to the configured email address but without including a PDF of the submission.

Freshdesk Submission Event

Freshdesk is a ticketing platform that allows agents to action and process tickets. Freshdesk has a simple form that can be used by customers to generate tickets. To expand on this functionality we have created an integration with Freshdesk allowing you to configure any form so that on submission a freshdesk ticket is created.

BSB and ABN/ACN Element

Many government and council forms require users to enter bank account or business information. To assist with this we have created two new integration elements.

The BSB element is formatted to ensure that the 6 digit BSB is entered and validated before allowing users to submit.

The ABN/ACN similarly allows users to either enter their 9 digit ACN or 11 digit ABN and validates it using the Australian government API.

Form Specific Retention Policy

We now allow you to configure your data storage periods on a per form basis, instead of across the entire account. Allowing you to specify exactly how long you want each form's data to be stored by OneBlink.
