IMPORTANT Restricted File Types

In an upcoming release, we’ll be introducing a default list of supported file types for the Files element. If any user tries to upload a file that isn’t on this list, the upload will be blocked. Where a Files element already has its own list of accepted file types configured, that custom list will continue to take priority.

Default supported file types: apng, avif, csv, doc, docx, gif, heic, heif, jfif, jpeg, jpg, pdf, pjp, pjpeg, png, xls, xlsx

This change helps improve security by preventing potentially unsafe file types from being uploaded to your forms.

Generate Custom Receipts & Tax Invoices

We’ve expanded our custom PDF feature. Previously, you could upload your own PDFs and map form content to the PDF form fields. Now, you can also map Payment Gateway data, including the Amount, Billing Code, Customer Reference numbers, and more. This means you can easily generate your own receipts or tax invoices, tailored exactly to your needs.

App Force Authentication

If your app only contains private forms and is intended for logged-in users, enabling Force Authentication will automatically redirect anyone who isn’t logged in to the login page. This prevents unauthenticated access to your app’s home screen and creates a smoother experience for your users. It also works seamlessly with SAML authentication.

Email Workflow Update

To keep things simple, we’ve merged the Email + PDF and Email workflow events into a single Email workflow event. Now, if you’d like to include a PDF, a "+ ADD PDF" button now allows form builders to include PDF as part of the email workflow submission.

All of your existing Email + PDF events have already been updated to use the new Email event, with PDF options automatically configured for you. If you have any questions or run into any issues, our support team is here to help.

Save Drafts Without Logging In

Public users can now save a form as a draft, no login required. Until now, draft saving was only available to logged-in users, making it easy to sync progress across devices. That hasn’t changed. But with the Drafts menu switched on, even non-authenticated users can now save their work locally on their device and pick up where they left off.
